Lesson Day and Time
Your lesson is a regular weekly position in our timetable which must be kept to the same day and time wherever possible unless notified accordingly.
Lesson Duration
All lessons are offered on an individual basis & run for 30 or 60 minutes with an exception to guitar lessons which are mainly held in small groups for a duration of 30 minutes only.
Costs
When a new student enrols with us at M2K, they will be expected to complete a course of 46 lessons per annum.
As a year consists of 52 weeks, 6 of these are not chargeable and allocated to you as holiday.
A set fee is payable monthly regardless of whether there are 4 or 5 weeks in the month.
Keyboard, Piano & Music Theory 1-2-1 30 mins. £57.50 (per month). 1-2-1 60 mins. £115 (per month).

Payments
Our preferred monthly payment is by Standing Order, for security reasons we believe this method to be reliable and safe. We provide a form for you to complete and return to M2K enabling us to forward it onto your bank.
Other methods of payment include Cash, Card or Cheque payable at the start of each month/lesson.
Holidays
We provide 46 weekly lessons per year, the remaining 6 are allocated as holiday. Two must be taken at Christmas (this is the only time M2K closes for its 2 week shut-down) leaving 4 weeks to cover the following: illness/holiday and bank holidays etc..
Missed/Catch-Up Lessons
To compensate for any Missed Lessons (due to illness, holidays etc.) a Catch–Up will be provided. These can be taken at any time when mutually convenient to maintain your 46 week programme. Under No circumstances will missed lessons or outstanding catch-up’s be used as a reason for non-payment of fees.
If you miss or cancel your lesson without giving 24 hours notice, you will be charged in full.
Instruments
Ideally you will need an instrument at home to practice on. This however does not need to be an expensive one, especially if you are a total beginner. We will be happy to advise you accordingly.
Examinations
We use the following examination boards; London College of Music, Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, Trinity College and Rock School who are all fully recognised with their qualifications being accredited by Ofqual (higher grades earn UCAS tariff points for entry to University). Exams are available but not compulsory, we simply offer every student the choice or if preferred, play for pleasure.
Lesson Termination (To Give Notice)
To terminate lessons with M2K we require one month’s paid notice. Missed lessons/outstanding catch-up lessons/holidays cannot be included for non-payment of the notice period.
